One of the best Indian meals I’ve had in Melbourne. The flavours were authentic, rich, and perfectly balanced. Every dish we ordered was fresh and beautifully cooked.
The restaurant has a great vibe, modern yet welcoming, which fits perfectly with the Southbank dining scene. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better.

Incredible food, lightning-fast service! The Momos were perfectly juicy, and the Butter Chicken was rich and velvety. The Dal Makhni was a standout—slow-cooked to smoky perfection.
To top it off, the creative cocktails and refreshing mocktails arrived quickly, making this the perfect spot for a delicious, efficient meal

I didn’t dine in but was offered to sit down whilst I waited, and was brought water which was a nice touch.
The food was excellent, and even tailored to my request to be extra spicy. Had a similar feel to British Indian Style, which is great and rare to find.
I look forward to returning and eating in next time.

ordered takeaway and the experience was very good. I asked beforehand if the food was very spicy, and they told me it wasn’t—and it really wasn’t. The spice level was perfect: mild and just right to enjoy all the flavors. The dishes were very tasty and well balanced, you could really notice the quality. When food is too spicy for me, I don’t enjoy it as much, but in this case it was excellent. Great takeaway experience, I would definitely order again.

It’s wonderful to have such a great Indian restaurant here in Southbank. We truly enjoyed both the delicious food and the overall dining experience. Everything was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. We’re already looking forward to coming back to explore more of the tasty dishes on the menu!

The food was really delicious and full of authentic Indian flavours. The spices were well balanced, and everything tasted fresh. The service was also friendly. I would definitely come back again.

The food was amazing, we had the tandoori soya chaap and the paneer makhani. Both were really flavourful. The service was really good as well, the staff and the owner are very warm and welcoming. Would highly recommend coming here!

My first time trying Indian food, and this place didn’t disappoint. The Chicken Tikka Masala is very flavourful, the chicken is properly chargrilled. You can taste the charcoal and masala taste working together. The prawn masala, and the sauce is also amazing. The owner is very welcoming.

Great place to dine with friends and family. I was lucky to go there on the day of their opening, and was welcomed warmly, the drinks were great and the food was awesome. The Menu has a lot of variety, and found them taking care of the guests really well. Southbank was missing such a place and glad that an Indian multi-cuisine arrangement is here now. Furthermore, the prices are reasonable, opening hours are long, and the ambience is good for anytime visit. Will highly recommend to all my friends and anyone reading this review!

recently visited this restaurant and was truly impressed. The ambiance is warm and inviting, the menu offers great variety, and every dish we tried was flavorful and well-presented. The staff made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Keep up the amazing work— looking forward to go back again.

We had the pleasure of dining here at Southbank Spices on its opening day. Upon entering the restaurant, the first thing we noticed was the warm hospitality. Our host took time to walk us through the menu, give us recommendations and even had the time make small talk with us. We had the tandoori soya chaap and papdi chaat to start with, and then a paneer butter masala. All of the food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. My favourite being the tandoori soya chaap, which instantly took me back to the chaap that I ate whilst in India.

My experience was great. I loved the food was amazing if you should go you should absolutely go. It is a wonderful experience and you should definitely try the Advik loaded fries. It is amazing. Make sure you come to Southbank spices. It is really good. Also try the blackcurrant mocktail and the passionfruit drink. Tandoori champ and champ Makhani were to die for..
